Project Overview

This project involved revamping an outdated website to create a modern, high-standard design that aligns with Wesbuilt's project aesthetics. While retaining most of the existing information, the new site aimed to present a premium, contemporary look that functions seamlessly on mobile devices and is easy to update on the back end.

Problem

Broker is a startup that recognizes the lack of a dedicated platform for real estate professionals to network and pursue business interests outside of LinkedIn. By providing a specialized space, Broker aims to foster stronger connections and collaboration within the real estate industry.

Solution

I designed a social media platform specifically for the real estate industry, allowing users to rate their experiences with other professionals, with these ratings permanently linked to their accounts. Users can create comprehensive profiles to showcase their credentials, and the feed is tailored to individual real estate interests. The platform features an advanced search function optimized for real estate and a highly intuitive communication tool.

Highlights

The Broker user interface was clean, responsive, and adhered to the majority of best UX practices. There was no need to reinvent the wheel; I allowed the content selections specific to real estate to provide the unique aspect. Everything else followed established, textbook principles. This approach ensured both familiarity and usability for the target audience.
